Document analysis
Extraction, classification and summarisation of content from PDFs, scans and spreadsheets.

We bring artificial intelligence where it delivers concrete benefits: document extraction and classification, assistants based on the organisation’s own documentation, content generation, integrated with the systems already in use.
Integrating AI means adding artificial intelligence models to the steps of a process that today require reading, searching or writing text: extracting data from a document, classifying it, summarising it, answering a question.
We work with the main models, such as OpenAI, Claude and Gemini, and with RAG architectures: the assistant answers from the organisation’s own documents, retrieved from a vector database, rather than from the model’s general knowledge alone.
For recurring document work, such as application reviews, checks and audits, and case file analysis, we also offer Athena AI Service, the ready-to-use platform that MITH resells in Italy.

Artificial intelligence applied to processes and products.

Assistants for citizens and staff, based on the organisation’s own documentation.

Draft texts, replies and documents generated from the organisation’s data.
Artificial intelligence features built into management systems, portals and apps, new or already in use.
The solutions can be combined: dedicated software can integrate Athena into the organisation’s workflows.
The AI as a Service platform for document work: ready-made templates in the library, no prompts to write. MITH is its Italian reseller.
API integrations and workflows that bring the results of AI into the systems in use.
Dedicated management systems, portals and apps, with AI features built in where they are needed.
From analysis to full operation: every project starts by mapping real processes and moves forward through incremental releases, with agreed performance indicators.
Mapping of current processes: activities, volumes, systems involved, regulatory constraints and pain points.
Definition of the target process, the integrations required and the performance indicators.
Development of automations, API integrations and artificial intelligence components, with incremental releases.
User training, monitoring, support and ongoing development over time.
We choose the model based on the task and the project’s requirements; we work with OpenAI, Claude and Gemini.
It is an assistant that, before answering, retrieves the relevant passages from the organisation’s documents, indexed in a vector database, and answers from them. Its answers are based on the organisation’s information, not just on the model’s general knowledge.
Athena suits recurring document work, such as application reviews, checks and audits, and case file analysis, because it is ready to use and needs no development. A custom solution is needed when the process requires dedicated features, interfaces and integrations. The two can be combined.
With an initial meeting to identify the tasks where AI brings concrete benefits, then a pilot project on a sample process, with agreed goals and indicators.
We propose a three-phase path. Each phase ends with a shared review of the results before moving on to the next.
